Commissioned by the Barbican Centre and exhibited in their touring Our Time On Earth exhibition, Stories of Change weaves together the perspectives of both people and the planet. It unites people fighting for a more interconnected future, from documentary photographers and filmmakers to grassroots activists and youth campaigners.
Challenge
Filmed during global lockdown, each short film required a unifying treatment that blended screen-recorded interviews, archival footage, stock imagery and audio of varying qualities.
Solution
We honed in on an overlapping collage aesthetic, applying a lo-fi visual treatment to maximise the vary quality of the captured footage whilst leaning into The Earth Issue's analogue style.
